Scheduled Route 25 Road Closure Postponed

With storms potentially approaching, the scheduled weekend closure of Route 25 in Monroe has been postponed.

The Monroe Police Department issued an alert on Friday, noting that the closure has been rescheduled for next weekend.

Police said that Route 25 is now scheduled to be closed beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10 and should last through 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 13. During the closure, businesses in the area will remain open, officials noted.
